Help Neededed - A4 Avant

Guys I'm having a stinker with my Audi a4 Avant 56 2.0 tdi.

My esp and abs lights staying on and car not starting, had 2 fuel injectors changed and seemed to work. Heavy rain fall and it happened again. No codes showing, long story short is Audi specialist said it's common as drains get blocked and ecu gets wet, therefore causing a intermittent ecu fault. Anybody else experienced this?

A lot of people are having issues or have been mate from the heavy down pour. Have you removed the ecu to inspect if it is water damaged?

Tried today but didn't have the right tools to get into the last bolt, it's gone into the garage for inspection. However when I undid one of the screws there was a fizzing type noise so think there was some moisture in there.

I'll keep you updated. I'm gutted as love this car but can't just use it in the sunshine!!

Fingers crossed its salvageable mate. This is the very reason though I removed my battery the other day and spent an hour cleaning the drain holes to prevent this happening.

Yeah I'm crossing my toes too. I spoke to a Audi specialist who said you need to clean them every few weeks to ensure it doesn't keep happening. It's only 10 years old. Outrageous.
