Well today I fitted my sfs 80mm tip, I decided to keep the same filter setup just to see how different the car felt, I have s2000 filter with a heat shield, so I could do a before and after comparison, I have to say, I am very impressed, if anyone is considered this mod, it is well worth it, throttle response, spool up and mid range are noticeably improved, next step will be a Jetex cone, I'm hoping for even more improvement.

Yes, for the amount of outlay, it's incredible, there can't be a better bang for bucks you can make.

Awesome!

I've just ordered 80mm Badger 5 TIP with JP filter & heat shield off their website. Definitely can't wait to fit after reading this!

The stock TIPs are SOOOOOO restrictive. Probably one of the best mods you can do to a 1.8T....and fit a 3" downpipe. All about getting the air in and out of the small framed turbo as quickly as possible.

I did have a silicone tip on the car, but it was the tapered type, which I will put up for grabs on the classifieds cheap.
