I've got an A3 PD140 BKD engine it's got 182,000+ miles, recently had a brand new clutch and flywheel about 2000miles ago.
I intend to do some work to it this summer e.g. Intercooler, De-cat Downpipe, Straight pipe, Custom remap. But this is with a stock manifold and turbo which I also want to replace.
How much power do you think I could make? Any advice would be appreciated!

I guess 185 to 190 on a well run in engine, as yours is. You seem to be aware that an engine of this mileage may have it's weaknesses and have addressed them, mostly. I would still have a sympathetic remap though to preserve the engine.

Ooo think i'd quite like that. Would you recommend cleaning injectors, new coil pack etc? Also is a straight pipe on a diesel legal? Thanks!

Injector clean, yes. You don't have coil packs, it's a DERV. What sort of straight pipe do you mean?
