upgrading

Hello , so I bought a a3 2.0t petrol quattro for a winter hack while my bikes are trucked up for winter ,problem is I loved thrashing that little car around so much I've been think about buying a newer s3 or tt 2008 ish as it'll hardly be used over summer ,so my questions are
1. What's mine worth on p/x 2005 130 k miles few choice mods ,new cambelt and w/pump new brakes all round and tyres , and a full service 2k miles ago , it's black if that matters
2. What's a reasonable price to pay for s3 2008 and tt in similar spec and year
3. And I've seen a diesel version ???? I presume there terrible and should be burnt from the earth ,but am I wrong ?

Hate diesel with a passion.
Prices all depend on 3 door or sportback, DSG, Sunroof or xenons.
When I was looking for mine 2 years ago on a S- line 2.0tfsi fwd 06 plate I paid 9.5k with 40k on the clock, with sportback, dsg sunroof xenons. the equilivent S3 at the time was 6k more, same spec.

Yeah I found with such a wide spec range there's a wide price range , regarding the s3 it would have to be 3 door only and manual and I presume that's the cheaper one ??

I suppose 10k gets you a decent spec car with mid range mileage.
