3.0 V6 TDi quattro fuel consumption

Hi,

Those with the 3.0 TDi (CR240 ideally), how many miles do you get to a full tank (average and on a run)?

Mine does around 32-33mpg average mostly around town. On a run it will goto mid 40's if I am sensible, which I usually am not.
When it comes to the number of miles for a tank looking at the spreadsheet I keep seems to be between 440 miles if I have done some long trips 150-200 miles say and if it's all around town with some " performance testing" might be down to 360 miles.
Usually fill up around 50-55 litres.

Mine is stock capa (240) manual saloon. It's got 57k on the clock.
On a full tank, I get get about 400-450 miles when the distance to empty shows 0.
I do mainly town driving (not ideal for a 3.0 tdi I know but I love the engine and drivetrain) so I do get more on long runs. I drove to Great Yarmouth and back from mine and got over 500 miles out of the tank.
These cars have a small tank though, I believe it's only 61l on the Quattro

Over the last 2k I've managed 38mpg according to the trip in 2011 3.0tdi quattro. Generally doing extra urban driving with some blasts thrown in. It's not as good as my bmw e60 530d, it would do between 40-42mpg.
