Well I finally got my S3 back from my Detailers after handing over the keys after just over 5hrs of ownership and a mere 45mls on the clock. A big thanks to Colin @ Reflections Valeting for his superb work! A full CQUARTZ Ceramic and Gtechiq l1 Smartfibre interior protection
Unfortunately by the time I arrived to collect it at 2pm the sun had gone so the Panther Crystal wasn't popping...so more photos will follow

Definitely like to see some more pics of that. I ordered Daytona Grey, having already owned 2 other black cars back to back. That looks lovely though. I'd also like to see more pics of that interior. It looks much better there than in audis brochures.

Yes...I'm going to get a few more in depth photos collated very soon, especially when the sun makes an appearance
The interior is fan-dab imho and makes the interior so much lighter and classy...albeit maybe not everyone's first choice but after having so many 'Black on Black' interiors I thought to hell with it....time will tell if it was the wisest choice but for now I'm loving it

How 'practcal' is that silver interior though? Does it get dirty easily? I'd get the full leather option personally, but as long as I can keep it clean, I think I'll change my order, it looks ****** brilliant.

I"d say it was very practical, I had an 8P with silver alcantara seats for 5 years & the only place that needed a bit of care were the side bolsters, however SW14NYS has has them treated so they should be fine.

I got the Alcantara as it gets ****** cold here in Scotland
The Gtechniq l1 Smart fibre 'should' keep dirt & stains on the Alcantara and leather at bay

Hi mate awesome looking car mate love it,but l don't know if you're detailer told you this,but them frozen beads or any type of beading will lead to water spots if left to dwell in the sun,l went on holiday last year left the car in me mums drive for a fortnight and have burnt in water marks on the bonnet up near the wipers

Yeah...not really much I can do about that tbh unless I stand there and defrost the exterior paint as well ...and that's not gonna happen...lol. The CQUARTZ ceramic is very resilient and comes with a 2yr warranty anyway. It hasn't marked on my Wife's Black Mini Countryman yet and that's been on about 3mths so fingers crossed

What protection do you have on your S3 the now Jassy?...would a mechanical polish not sort it out, then apply another coat of ceramic?....I had the same problem with Autoglym Lifeshine I had on my Golf 7 GTi's tbh....but what can you do

There is a sort of detailer spray available can't put a name to just now mate that takes them water marks away ,l have the gtechniq C1 /Exo on my car but its beading has greatly reduced over the last 10 months hence l use the Gyeon Cure Q2m incredible stuff just to get near the look it used have when it was first applied they still need a good bit of maintenance
These nanotechnology coatings to keep them looking good

If you're ever feeling slightly flush mate and want the best,ye can't get better than this kit,nanotechnology detailer ie it uses the same technology as the ceramic coating
