Exhaust info needed - S3 Sportback

Afternoon all!

Just ruminating a few things in my head and throwing some ideas about with a mate.

Could anybody tell me:
1) OD of the exhaust pipes BEFORE trims (ie the standard pipe as it leaves the backbox)
2) the profile of that pipe - I'm led to believe even the non trim part is not totally round?
3) how the trims attach, are they sleeves then welded?
4) how much "play area" there is between valves and inside lip of trims.

P.S I can't use search as am inside a very heavy building - taken most of the afternoon to successfully post this!
And I don't have calipers to measure the outside diameter of the pipe.

1. 60.5mm or 2.38" (measured with a tape measure and worked out from circumference).

2. It looks and feels circular.

3. Can't see any welds but need to get it up in the air to have a proper look for any fixings.

4. Gap to trims 7mm at top and bottom going to 12mm at the sides to make it oval shaped.

Just for completeness in case anyone else searches for this ...

Tips are 3" tall by 3.5" wide (so 75x87mm - I've seen 89mm stated elsewhere so I could be a few mm out)
Distance between them 12mm so you couldn't go much wider.
Length from underside 4" or 100mm. Smallest dimension due to slash cut end.
Distance to first bend 2" or 50mm.
