Emissions light

Ok so I was sat with the car running for a bit (30 mins or so) and what appears to be the emissions light pop on gave it a good blast on the way home and it's still in ,is there a common fault with the s3 ? Or do I need to get vag com on it ?Running about 340 break with full bcs turbo back 200cell sports cat

I'd suggest finding someone with vcds and have the codes read then reset and see if it comes back

Cos it's only the emissions light and it days it's not s massive issue

If it was "only" an emmisions light and the 1st lambda sensor had broke, well, you know what could happen.
The EML lights up (and sometimes doesn't) when you have any fault code stored.

Had the car scanned today came back with a coil pack fault so he reset it for me and said if it comes back on should replace the coil pack , am I right in thinking r8 coil packs work in the s3???
