Hi all,

Just wondering where the best place to go is to upgrade my headlights. At the moment they are standard halogens but I'm looking for OEM quality xenons (not HID kits from eBay i hate them!).

Cheers for the help

Think you would get the same issues installing those in a reflector headlight as you would a HID kit, possibly even more.
The beam pattern is likely to be all over the place.
Depo sell Xenon complete light kits to swap the headlights over but you are looking at £350 ish for a pair of lights.
Or you can replace the dipped beam reflector with a projector and use a HID kit.
There are many threads on the board, do a search for @t8ups the resident light expert.

I had bi-xenons with levelling sensors retro-fitted on my 2005 poverty spec B7 SE a few years ago using OEM parts. As I'm hopeless at DIY, I got bespoketech in Cheshire to supply & install the parts. Wasn't cheap though... £2400 LOL

However if I would have probably bought these Osram LED lights if they were available at the time & saved myself a couple of grand or so. They seem to get very good reviews on Amazon Germany - they are specifically made for the Audi A4 B7:

How muuuuuuuuuchhhhhh!

That's what I thought £2400 for headlights , a lot cheaper to sell the car and buy another one.
Those Osram lights are interesting, couldn't quite work out if they were a cheap Chinese kit as they sell stuff with Osram,Hella , Bosch labels.
But they are indeed Pukka Osram, the thing I couldn't wok out is how you can fit them legally to a car with no auto level or headlight washers.
It seems reading through the detail these only have 25W bulbs rather than the more normal 35W bulbs so they don't need auto level or washers.
Still a good improvement over halogen lights and a bit cheaper than £2400. These seem to come in around £600 ish.
