Had to top up my rapid detailer, wheel cleaner and I'm ready to jump on some GTechniq kit in the future.

Picked these up today to try on the wife’s new car

holy s***
A new tyre is cheaper
£1.10 per ml. Silver is probably cheaper per gram.
For that money does someone apply it for me every time it needs it?

Curious how much will you will use to dress a tyre? A tenners worth? 50 quids worth?
There are those days I just can’t be bothered and just slap stuff on and will end up using £100 on 1 tyre.
I’ve been using the same bottle of car pro Perl for 3-4 years and still have at least half left. Think it was only £15.

I have purchase one of these, the plastic ones do not seem to last me very long so wanted something a bit more robust.

Autoglym Polar Blast, 2.5 L - thought I'd give it a try at £11.70 delivered on Amazon Uk

Autoglym Leather Care. I plan on removing the shine from my steering wheel and getting it back to a nice matte finish.

2 X turtlewax sealant spray wax for £5.34 each.

Bargain to see me through the winter cleaning, to try and keep it looking shiny in the forthcoming dull and cold months.

Where did you get them from for that price?

Nice haul you got there!

You will find it more a cost of time than money when taking care of your own car.

Be nice to see all your hard graft.

just fainted

Just a heads up. Amazon Black Friday has the autoglym polar blast/wash/seal on sale. Think it’s 25-30% off

I stumbled across this site when I was having issues with the EGR and DPF. Here I am a few months later: swapping out wheel bearings, cv boots, upgrading to the honey comb grille, and a new head unit. Also picked up Trups' LED lighting kit.

Most of the detailing products I purchased were based on jassyo06's recommendations.

Much appreciated.

Some great deals on "car chem" currently! Just ordered the following

5L of 1900:1 shampoo (best shampoo per John at FD)
1L of Car Chem QD
1L of Glass Cleaner
500ml of screen wash

All came to £21 with free shipping. Absolute steal.

Made the leap of faith today and bought some Carbon Collective goodies. Been keeping an eye on them for a while, and the 20% off was all I needed to make a few purchases

Ye got a Macan.....WTF did ye cash in a pension ....or what...lol preferred yer Q5 te be honest....anyway l think these brushes verge on the slightly too aggressive side for using on alloys especially diamond cut or high gloss black alloys

Haha.....I decided to spend some of the kids inheritance, as I’ve decided we’re only here once, so got to make the most of it!! Whilst I did really like my Q5, I wanted to change it before the depreciation hit hard and, as there wasn’t anything in the Audi range I fancied, I started to look elsewhere.....F-Pace, E-Pace, Evoque, Velar, GLC, Macan....and the Macan came out on top for me, so I thought...****** it.....let’s go for it lol!! If Audi bring out an updated Q5 in the future, then I may come back into the fold!

I agree that the brush is too hard for the actual alloys, but as I use Wheel Woolies for these, this brush will be used to help clean the wheel arches

Reactions: Jimbob76, Jassyo06 and NevMan

Works great on the arches, that is all I use mine for. Have softer wheel woolies and other for the alloys

I've ordered a few things from Carchem after seeing Adam14's post. First time with them but worth a go at those prices. Shampoo, glass cleaner, tyre gel applicator and a couple of other things that I can't remember to take it to £26
