Audi A3 Rear Parking Camera

Hi,

Just got round to fitting my rear view camera on car today.

All was going well until I tried the built in number plate light. Unfortunately it throws up a dashboard bulb out error. Is there anyway I can add a inline resistor or something to stop it happening?

Hi, it is model, age and controller specific, but you might be able to turn it off in VCDS

I had to to run A5 led number plate leds.

How long did it take you to fit the rear view parking camera? And what head unit are you using?

I took me about an hour and a half to fit the camera. It connects to my Alpine IVE-W530BT via wireless.

You dont by any chance have a link to the kit you ordered? As i have a pioneer sph-da120 and wanted to fit one in mine too.
