hi been told by audi that my waterpump and rad is leaking. only owned the car a few months, I have had to top up coolent before but not that much and the leak is slow, have looked under the bonnect cant seem to find any leaks, where is the waterpump located.

Rads suffer at the corners, put pressure test on the system to ascertain, we've changed rads for clients before but not heard much about water pump leaks tbh.
What engine and model year is it? You could be looking at leaks elsewhere if engine code is BKD...
I'm trained to say there is no such thing as a common fault....water pumps however... they do tend to do it.

engine is a 1.8tfsi, ive tried looking under the bonnet cant see anything, nothing on the drive either,
