Quad exit pipes on a 4.2 tdi

Hi,

I have just bought a 2008 A8 4.2 tdi. I want to change the standard dual exit exhaust to a quad exit like on the S8. Is this something that is possible, because my main concern is the modification of the valance to get it to fit the bigger dual pipes. I have scanned the internet and the only place I can find that does anything like is CKS Performance, but they get absolutely slated in reviews.

valance from a S8 find some 2nd hand back pipes get them welded to yours , >> may work ???

Yea s8 valance and then chop rear boxes off and have someone weld straight pipes with twin tips, get a bit more v8 noise and the 4 pipe look you was after, most places should be able to do the exhaust mod you'll need either yourself or body shop to fit the valance

Why not go for the W12 rear bumper with integrated pipes.
Looks even better than quads imo. Might be doing this on my 4.2 tdi sport

I agree, whilst the S8 looks great the W12 exhausts look just that little bit better and less common
