Hi guys so i bought a 2010 audi a4 s-line came with 6 months warrenty.
3 weeks ago. About a week after owning it i noticed a judder/shudder when taking off in first gear, when releasing the clutch.. happens in the morning or when my car is sitting a while. Drives ok any other time.
I called the dealer and he basically tried to tell me that all audi a4's do this and its nothing to be worried about... i insisted that he checks it over none-the-less.
I took it to him today and he again tried to tell me the same thing again.
My concern now is that he'll not even check it over and just hand the car back... he did tell me that he would get the mechanic to just give it a clean.... im guessing hes talking about the flywheel or something.
If when i collect the car he informs me that its 100% and needs no work done can i take it to an audi specialist to get a second opinion and if the specialist recommends that i infact do need a clutch... where to i stand.... can i go back to the dealer and tell him my findings and is the dealer then obliged to grant me my wish or does he have the right to refuse to do the work as his mechanic says it needs no work.
Thanks in advance. Supanova
