Ever since I bought my A5 2.0TFSI on an 09 plate I've noticed it smells quite rich of petrol when driven hard. This is particularly noticeable when the roof is down... Not noticeable when cruising but when you accelerate hard it can really be smelt.
It's now done 47,000 miles, I bought it last December on 38,000. It's been serviced and also had a new injector after one seized open causing a breakdown. The fuel economy is very good returning high 30's to mid 40mpg and it's runs fine with the exception of the smell from the back. Is this normal for these engines?
