Is this an Audi claim job or tough **** get a refurb time? It's on 3 wheels...excuse the dirty state...
Even if the peeking is not near the damage? From memory if they have any damage they are not covered.
It starts with a booking with the service department. They will do a condition report with photos. That's submitted to the warranty department and they will let you know. If you have full service history it helps.
No on both counts...Have you had the car from new, do you know the history of the wheels?
Even if one has no damage and has this peeling, the others surely have the same issue? There is no paint work warranty on wheels as they are not painted. I worked for Audi for 10 year's and seen quite a few people try it but they don't touch them if there is any damage at all.
Where did you get them done?I had exactly the same problem with my alloys when I bought my car (used) from Audi. I think it's fairly standard practice for them to give the wheels a quick blow over as part of the forecourt prep. They look lovely for a few months then......
Luckily I noticed mine starting to flake after only a couple of weeks, went through a very painful process with the dealership who promised they would be re-powder coated only to have them do a worse re-spray than the last time!
Ended up having to go through Audi UK and got them powder coated myself and claimed the money back.
Proper ball-ache but I wanted them right.
Cost £320 iirc and they're 19" twin seven spokes.
12 months on and they're still mint.
Ouch they've obviously done one too many Lamborghi.Tried elite but they're £90 a wheel ouch...
Scotland probably is just out of reach lol
