From memory if they have any damage they are not covered.
It starts with a booking with the service department. They will do a condition report with photos. That's submitted to the warranty department and they will let you know. If you have full service history it helps.

Even if the peeking is not near the damage?

It sounds like a cheap refurbishment that was not done correctly.

Was going to say same. Some Audi garages get
Mobile alloy wheel repairs onsite. Was same with on my old black edition. Belfast Audi replaced wheel FOC under warranty. Contacted me 1 month later to say warranty claim was rejected as wheel was refurbed.
I bought car from Peterborough Audi. Belfast had to chase them as wasn't my fault as I honestly wasn't aware...

There is no paint work warranty on wheels as they are not painted. I worked for Audi for 10 year's and seen quite a few people try it but they don't touch them if there is any damage at all.

Even if one has no damage and has this peeling, the others surely have the same issue?
Do they cover peeling outside of warranty then?

No. The full set will have been refurbished at some point. Mobile places are the cheapest. It was probably one of them that did them last time. I would get them powder coated you won't have any issues in the future.

Oh ***, not a good week for me, suspension sensor broken and control arm broken, overheating, fog light bulb gone (although a good excuse to get ice white upgrades...), and now my wheels have been fixed on the cheap...
How much is powder coating? Would be tempted to go black on the silver car...

powder coating can vary quite a bit.But I think £50 a wheel is about average

I suppose it depends on location etc when considering price

I had exactly the same problem with my alloys when I bought my car (used) from Audi. I think it's fairly standard practice for them to give the wheels a quick blow over as part of the forecourt prep. They look lovely for a few months then......
Luckily I noticed mine starting to flake after only a couple of weeks, went through a very painful process with the dealership who promised they would be re-powder coated only to have them do a worse re-spray than the last time!
Ended up having to go through Audi UK and got them powder coated myself and claimed the money back.
Proper ball-ache but I wanted them right.
Cost £320 iirc and they're 19" twin seven spokes.
12 months on and they're still mint.

Where did you get them done?

I'm in Hants, got them done at MyAlloy in Basingstoke at the recommendation of (a different) Audi dealership.
Took them a couple of days but I think some places do a same day turn around. MyAlloy said they have limited "loan" wheels to keep you mobile, I just bought a spare set of 18's to use as winter wheels so ran on those for a few days.

They also warranty the finish as long as there's no physical damage.

Hardest part was choosing the colour!
They had so much choice, I chickened out and went stock :pensive:

Deff go black !!

Place up by me has good set up, powder coat for £240 and give you a car to run about in while they do it but it's near Edinburgh

I've a place up in Manchester that will do them for 25 each but you need to get your tyres off and then refitting and time with out your car. I've just started at new place and they are awesome work with the dimond cut wheels 95 plus vat and 65 for the powder coating. But still working on the oven.

Where abouts are you Razza? I use Motocool in Stockton, they remove/refit your tyres and chemical strip/blast/powdercoat/powdercoat clear coat on top.
