Exhaust sound .. turbo whine

Does it sound like my turbo is on its way out because of the whine its giving after revving or is it because i have a straight through pipe .. that it makes this sound ???

Does the turbo wobble much when you feel it with your hand? That's the test.

I have just watched this on my iPhone so not the best speaker but it's sounds absolutely fine to me. Sounds the same as the other straight pipe diesels I've heard.
What engine is yours?

I had a tdi some while ago, not an audi though. I started to hear a whistle from the turbo when revving and it turned out to be corrosion where the pipe between the middle box and the back box joined the back box. There was a hole and eventually the back box joint failed. As yours is a straight through it won't be that but there may be a hole somewhere in one of the joins.

Well it sounded fine to me to but my mate said it whines a bit don't it.. and its been playing on my ind ever since so i thought i would get it checked out.. garage said just wait until it goes into limp mode so for now don't worry

I got the 2.0tdi 143 with remap.
