Vehicle Identification Number?

Hi Guys, bit of a lurker on here for the last few months. Finally got the car (will put up another post with specs and pics) At the moment just setting up my audi connect. Online it required my Vehicle Identification Number, now i have looked in my service schedule book and it shows but it has loads of different numbers and codes, roughly what code should i be looking for obviously not to give away yours but an idea would be great
