Hi.

My own stupid fault I didn't read the brochure before ordering my new car 2 weeks ago.
Called the dealer today to add a few things that I hadn't noticed previously and have been told the car is now confirmed build for week 11 and the spec can't be changed by the dealer.

Is it worth a call to Audi customer service to see if any strings can be pulled.

Help !

If your order is code 20, then no your dealer can't make any changes, they can however cancel and re-order with the amended changes. This can mean a long wait, or if you are lucky they can adjust a to stock order to match what your order should be.

Front and rear park instead of just rear.
Extended mono pur
High beam assist

With BW 11 have they told you when to expect your car? Also it would be worth enquiring with your dealer to find out expected timescales if you were to can cancel and reorder.

l was in a similar predicament, once the order is confirmed if you cancel...?you will lose your deposit if you have paid a deposit? but do as i have done, ask the sales person if there is any other cars coming in similar to your spec/budget you require?

I had a S3 SB S-Tronic ordered with Lunar/LED headlights..etc wanted one with a Panroof/B&0 and ended up with a 95% spec to what i was looking for more expensive, more content and far more looking forward to getting the car...Audi dealership networks have loads of un-ordered/stock cars on there way as i type

I shouldn't worry too much, it sounds as though you have the car about right. Sad that you cant add those items but they're not really must haves and wont affect the drive of the car.
I don't have any of those items, would I add them next time? Absolutely not.

Just forget it and wait for your new motor.

l too,was in the same situation,phone/visit the showroom/salesman and ask if there are any similar colour/spec of car coming through in next few months,l was too late to change as my son the salesman hijacked a existing stock order in order to get a quicker delivery time, l ended up getting a cracking car, although more expensive, mostly over all l am content...all because i wanted a Panroof...lol

Worth having a sit down chat with the salesman or his boss to discuss your options - it's a lot of money to shell out and then not to be 100% happy.

Some options you may have on your current car already and would miss and others you want to try for the first time to make the new car experience more fun.

Yes it is - good spot !!! ..... Or did the building work in the background give it away lol !

Button for it is between the rear view mirror and the buttons for the interior lights.

Can be controlled via the key fob for opening and closing just like the windows (but only opening a bit not the full way back)

My S3 parked next to building works no ****** way ..... what I missed out on was the rear armrest/load through ( I thought a rear armrest came standard on a $70k car, my mistake) but as I was facing a 6 month wait for the car, I wasn't going to add even more time - I did ask the dealer, he said sure but do you want to go to the end of queue.
