Fitting 2009+ clocks / cluster to 56 plate tdi s line

Hi.

I have a 56 plate a3 s line dsg tdi

I have 2 queries

1) Will the 2009 onwards a3 White lighting clocks out of a petrol Either S3 clocks or standard 2.0T clocks work in my a3 (56 plate sportback tdi s line dsg) and can someone please tell me the procedure

2) do I need clocks / cluster out of another DSG model, or will the car make the alterations itself displaying gear change etc, automatically?

If your's is a TDi then you'll need a set of TDi clocks from a newer model.

Pretty sure it doesn't matter if it's from a manual or DSG, but the mph & rpm need to match.

Just so happens I have a mint white cluster in the classifieds. I'm open to a sensible offer if you're interested?
