Copy and paste into a csv file, I didn't know how better to upload it.

Wow lots of numbers :think:

Ideally could do with logging lambda correction and AFR really to see if the elevated injector duty is due to a failing fuel pump...

Bill has seen more of these than me though and is best placed to suggest if you need bigger injectors going forward...

<tuffty/>

Do you know off hand what groups those are? I can log it on way to work later :)

... actually... just looked at your ECU number... yours is an APY?

<tuffty/>

Ok... won't be able to log fuelling without being on a dyno then realistically

<tuffty/>

Sorry for thread hijack

Rhinopower dont spose you were on fiestaturbo years ago were you?

wideband gauge ftw to confirm if resultant fueling is adequate or not.
dyno + logging of afr's under load

your duty cycles are high, as is your airflow, so its likely a case of you need bigger injectors/more fuel.. 4bar fpr will drop duty cycles.. but logging and some other unisettings adjustments would be your diy level of adjustments, mapping/dyno aside

I have the option to go to a dyno day in a couple of weeks, get it run, with a printout logging AFR, and post that and see what you think :) I expect to get the most from it, my car will require some treatment from you Bill.

Is the change of FPR, and unisetting adjustments something i can do myself? Obviously the FPR is.

Got both :)

Do you have any suggested settings for me to drop in to start with? I understand it will need a wideband lambda to verify fuelling correctly.

if 4bar drop in, unisettings out -12-15% on primary and secondary fuel, and look at idle cruise trims on 001 vcds logging to see if you are in the ball park

Unisettings isnt playing ball. I’ve changed the settings in vagcom as instructed, but when i click read ecu in unisettings, i can hear the usual clicking behind the dask, it gets to approx 20% and then says unable to communicate with ecu :(

Go into the options on vcds and untick boot in intelligent mode... Save settings and try again with unisettings

<tuffty/>

Yeah I did that, first thing I tried. Bizarrely it does exactly the same thing wether it's plugged into the car or not. I've also tried it on a fresh windows 8.1 install too.

UPDATE: It works now if I have vagcom open on the main screen, then open unisettings :) will hopefully get out later with the 4bar, tweet it, and log again

Correct figures adjusted? I went for -13 to start, lambda correction is reading 0% on idle, acceleration and cruise :)

Il take it out again later, and log it all. At least I got the settings right, it's driving really nice :)
