Apart from a nick on one alloy (sure it happened at Audi dealers as wasn’t me), couple of stone chips on the bonnet and a nick on the driver’s door edge (there on delivery!) its minted mate.

Cant help stone chips mate, paint not as thick as the old days. When I handed one of my cars back, (PCP) that went the distance, they came picked it up and it went straight to auction. When I enquired about a couple of marks on the car he wasn't ***** and said the finance company wouldn't be either. Maybe different for lease cars. When your done with the BMW we'll see you back in an S3.

It’s all done against the same wear and tear guidelines so fingers crossed it’s fine, guy coming at 10:30.
Yeah I’ve had pcp’s before that went straight to auction, but at 21k miles and 2yrs old I’ve got a feeling it may end up back with Audi maybe? Will be keeping a eye out either way lol

You could be right fella. Dealer near me has said the used S3's are selling like hotcakes (his words) probably due to the WLTP fiasco. I have even seen slight increases in screen price but I suppose they have to make money somehow, and when demand outstrips supply !!!!!!!!!!!!

My local Audi is also selling them pretty rapid. They had about 10 used sportbacks a couple weeks ago and they're all sold now.

Maybe the confirmed 300ps has put a few off buying new and want the 310ps throne (but not me), wont feel any different at all. AND selling out fast because if you factory order a new one it will be at least Q2 if your lucky.

I think it's the wait more than anything based on what the salesman was saying. Most can't wait that long when there's used kicking around that'll suit them.

I occasionally check the audi website for available secondhand cars and indeed I have definitely noticed a little price increase in the S3’s of late. Also there is far far less aviability than in previous periods, looking only the other week there were only 2 S3 saloons in Ara blue available on the audi site in the whole country which is mad. At the start of the year when I was considering secondhand there were tons of them.

@Jcbmally well that’s it away with no issues apart from the excess 1100 miles.

BCA guy had driven up from Manchester dropped a car in Edinburgh and got taxi through here about 25miles.
Now taking car back to Manchester where he’s based and it will then be taken further south to go to auction!

My 2 yr old was more upset than me as it was driven away

Finally got round to fitting my private plate. Only took 15months before getting round to it.

Looks much better now.

Upgraded interior lights to led and reverse lights to led. Very happy with results.

Got a full set of OSRAM Cool Blue Intense for front lights, hopefully they will be slightly whiter than the bog standard halogen ones that are fitted.

Lol aye, where do you get it. Is it easy to fit I’m a complete novice with all this stuff.
Looking at the one in your picture I can’t see how it fits, or do you need to remove the plastic trim on the door.

It clips in from behind the handle as are the window switches. How did you change those?

Ah. Yes I see now. I’m afraid I cheated with the window chrome tips. They are actually only stuck on. Saved me taking things apart and mucking about with wires. Although they are stuck on they are a perfect fit, after some twiddling and trimming. Maybe not the way a purest would do it but end result is good, and I’m quite particular about things.

ah. If you do decide to do the mirrors, im sure there is somebody fitting folding mirrors who might have a switch spare.

If all goes according to plan I will have a spare switch end of next week. All my spare bits will be going

Give the old girl a scrub before Christmas.

Nearly 2 months worth of grime and road salt. Luckily Daytona gray hides it quite well.

Decided to add a pair of stripes to the bonnet. Vinyl was cut to fit the narrow bevelled surface of the bonnet creases. My wife hates it but I have recieved a number of thumbs up from others. Not everyones cup of tea, I agree. Will leave it on for a few weeks and then decide if I am going to keep it.
