Noise from Rear of A4 saloon

After posting my first post in the B7 section i was advised i may get more advice in the the B6 section, as my car is a 2002 TDI 130 Sport.

I have now had my car 4 days and have covered 350 miles. When in traffic i can hear a noise when i move forward, it sounds like the fuel moving in the tank. The Diesel tank is now 7/8 full, is this common?.

I never hear the fuel in my tank.But i never have have that much fuel in it anyway. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I hear it often but don't take too much notice. I only ever hear it when I have over 50% of a tank of fuel and am in the start-stop mode in traffic.

I notice it in my avant when 1/2 - 3/4 full in stop start traffic. have been told that this is quite common and nothing can be done about it .
