It's all your fault audi sport!!!

Hidden flip up lighter ordered and I found out you can get the handbrake release button separately so that's also ordered as it was doing my head in since I noticed it was scratched to hell :)

Nice freshly powder coated black roof rails/ bars :) thanks to member orange225 for doing a top job of powder coating them they look brand new.

Just got to find time and courage to take the interior apart to fit them:p

looking very nice, i like them in black but i think they only suit cars that are not allready black, great on your silver avant .

fitting is not a massive job but can be a little bit " fiddly" is the word that springs to mind and allow a while to get it all done, one of those jobs that can get stretched out a bit longer than you would like.
good luck with it.

Stalled a bit on the roof bars but got around to fitting flip up lighter today :)

did you have to remove the complete top section of the console in the end or just get the ligher unit back in as a single unit.
looks really nice and tidy, like the handrake handle cover tooo.:icon thumright::cool:
is there a step by step thread for this mod by any chance too.

Yes had too remove entire centre console though I think it can be done without removing centre console completely (could remove bolts and tilt it up from back). I wanted it out to give it and all the other bits a good clean.

Found a couple of links about that were fairly useful for removing centre console will find them and put the links on here

RS4 gearstick should be on by Friday :) also hoping fb steering wheel will have been delivered by then.

Needs a daylight photo but was a little excited and wanted to share...

Tada, finally have the rs4 gear stick :) for a payment of £80 and rest was covered by audi dealer on good will gesture for a crappy experience. They also replaced the following free of charge.. front under tray, front wheel arch liners, wheel arch spoilers, bumper supports and all those expensive fixings :jump:

All in all a good day

Thanks, fb steering wheel expected to land tommorow:)

Have you had a change of heart, are you keeping your car now? Hope it works out ok in the end for you :thumbs up:

well sort of decided to keep it, or should that be put up with it now to be honest, just cant find the right car to replace it with and certainly with less than 37k on a 56 plate , hopefully this might be the last of the repairs.

I think you may be like me (rightly so in your case) paranoid about every little knock, misfire and puff of smoke. I'm starting to relax a little which is helping me to enjoy the car a bit more. Having said that I panicked tonight on way home from work when a big noisy diesel truck was behind me in traffic and I thought it was my car with the rough tick over until I realised it was him behind. I was on verge of turning around and going back to dealer to ask how they screwed up my engine

Got it from a guy on here that ajax1976 put me in touch with its carzoneauto £250 delivered. Will dig out the link and post it on here for you.

Yes my airbag will fit in it, if not then im ********!

If like me you're chicken of messing about with airbag explosives my local vag specialist said £16 to fit it so not too bad at all:)

tell you one thing that annoyed me that I didn't realise until I saw the sticker inside the steering wheel. I work for the company that makes them, big doh!

Haha that's a ****** and cheers for the link loving all the oem mods your doing. And yer a bit iffy fitting it myself
Cheerd

Anyone know where you lever out the multi function steering wheel buttons from? Is it the top bottom or side, I've tried all three but they seem well stuck and don't want to break them!

In case anyone reads this and was wondering I figured it out. Remove central ring then they slide out in to middle of wheel...

Wow what a difference, all ties in nicely together :):):)

Just come across your thread, looks spot on inside now.

I totally forgot to get in touch with the guy about the S4 headlining for you sorry. I've been laid up with a bad back this last week so it slipped my mind.
I'll fire him a txt over asking him can I pass his number to you.

Anyone want to buy a complete headliner, a,b,c,d pillar trims, sun blinds, handles & lights in silver colour ;)

Looks ok in pictures going to try and get up to see it then arrange to go back up and strip it out if it's good enough

It looked in good nick when I was there, I was kind of gutted it hadn't popped up when I was looking for mine so I didn't have to drive to Scotland for it ha ha.
