Abs/traction light on. Reduced power ?

2001 2.5tdi QS Avant

The abs/ traction lights are on most the time, I know it needs the right rear sensor fault investigating.

My question is, is there reduced power when these lights are on ?

I drove the car today and the lights were off and the car felt torquier/ faster.

Maybe an issue with brakes or going into limp mode due to something else/related.

It's still really fast and torquey normally but just felt relentless this morning.
I thought about Limp mode but doesn't that limit the revs.

Has it been plugged in and fault codes read

Yeah, right rear sensor fault but on a delfi diagnostic, I'm hoping to be getting a go of vcds this week.

No - on the B6 ABS/TC lights will not reduce power.

Power will only be reduced if the car is in limp mode - Engine managment light illuminated.
