car won't move in any gear

hello
i have A3 manual transmission
yesterday i drove the highway and suddenly i hear noise from the transmission sound like when you shift to reverse.
after that i slowly drove the car and after i put some more gas the rev goes up and the car not moves.
now i can shift to any gear without the clutch and the car still working but not moves at all.

what can cause this problem?

that happened to me once

turned out someone nicked my wheels and left it on bricks.

I had this in another car and the diff went.

you should take it apart and find out what's wrong with it

Yeah in the gearbox, I'm not saying this is your problem but a possibility. I had the problem in a 106gti

Sounds like the clutch release bearing has pushed through the pressure plate.

does this part comes inside the clutch kit?

Yeh it is part of a 3 peice kit.

should i replace the clutch disk and plate too or only the release bearing?

if the gear box is out do the lot!

Might aswell change it all as the labour will be the same either way. Piece of mind
