Hello. I drive a A4 B6 1.9 TDI (130hp). So my question is.
Did anyone have these rims on their car? And possibly on a car with this motor, does the car struggle with those rims because of the hp? Currently i got 205/60/15.

I want 225/50/17 for summer tires, and the reason i want 50 height is because of bad roads here where Im from.

Every advice is much appreciated.

I have 195-55/15 both for summer and winter. Tyres are cheap even the best ones and the fuel consumption is low. 4.5 when driving sub-normal 5 when driving normal and 5.5 when pushing it a bit more. I get this consumption whit the chipped engine (160hp). Wider tyres mean more mass, more air and rolling resistance. Also are these dimensions in you homologation? Another thing to consider is that the wider tyres put more stress on the steering. It probably was designed to cope with all of that.
