Just joined as I have just bought a 2004 1.8t quattro a4 convertible. I work offshore and have not seen the car in two months but have had a few bits done and would like your input. I have read about the 1.8 engines sludging up and have had the oil and filter changed and Mobil 5w30 put in. New gearbox oil ( more expensive than I thought ) air, pollen and fuel filter. Also had the timing belt and water pump changed. Is a 6 speed manual so apart from clutch, can't really think what else I could do. Any tips on what to look out for? Thanks. Phil
