Oil on top of plugs

Was doing a service there tonight on my 1.8T A3 AUM. When I pulled off the first coil I noticed oil on the coilpack, The interior walls were the same and the plugs had oil on them. I have deleted the n249 valve and the PCV system is clear. I only changed a coil a few months back and there was no oil. What could this be? Im leaning towards the rocker cover gasket but could it be more serious? Couldn't see any weeping from the gasket when I looked. Thanks everyone.
