So my dealer (Salisbury Audi) do offer their own franchise group insurance (Heritage) which is under written by UK insurance PLC. It's a good policy - much more comprehensive than others I have seen.
Heritage will cover all diamond cut wheels but it's a "cosmetic" repair not a refurbishment. Big difference. So as I found out with my rotor - the cosmetic repair is a colour matched paint to mimic the look of a diamond cut section.
I can now add that a new S3 alloy is £653 after recently replacing one after a mishap.......
