DIS Fault 1.8T 1997 Type 1 dash.

Hi,
My display seems to be ok, but no data on the screen, this what i found.
Took the dash out today and found a ribbon cable has come off, its at the bottom of the dash and is its must be a part of the DIS
system, it fits on the main board,there is connecting strip that mates to the ribbon, but I have no idea how its fixed on as its not soldered
or has no connector, it might be glued, but what with???

How do you know the display was ok and it just wasnt displaying any data?

Hi,
The display shows 3 Red lines/sections, the data would be displayed in each section as you know, I was asking if anyone knows how
you re-attach the ribbon cable to the dash circuit board.
