I have this power steering problem that has been bothering me for a while now and I hope someone can help me out here.
So basically, I have no power steering on my Audi A3 53 plate and the red steering light is on.
This problem happened probably because the battery was dead. After changing the battery the mechanic told me that the angle sensor needs to be re-calibrated as the power steering is confused.
I have done this using my Launch X431. But the light still remains and there is no power steering.
I have tried to access 44 - Steering Assist to deal with the torque sensor but it is not letting me. I have also taken the car for a little test drive but problem is still there.
Do I have to try to access steering assist through a VCDS or another device?
If anyone can help me out, I would really appreciate it. Can't take it to a dealer and get sucked.
