Since we got the car I have found the ride harsh and certainly not comfortable in our A3 1.9 TDI but since I changed the tires to the F2 asymetrical, all I can say is wow.
The car feels planted now on the road and the ride is so much better.

Cool, what did you have before?
Tyre age is as important as mileage, so if they were old but low mileage, so they prob past their best.

Tyres aren't at their best just fitted, so when scrubbed in the best is yet to come.

Something called Lasa, dont get me wrong they were good stuck to the road like glue on the corners.
But the ride was terrible.
The new ones are brill and a worth while investment.
One down side was they priced them at £462 x4 and when I came back the discount of £30 they had given me, they then informed me that the tracking was out 9mm now and it was going to be £30 to re-track.
I felt like I was being had so I will have done somewhere else if it's required.
I wuld of thought they would of done that all in.

never seen any garage do the tracking in with the tyre price

Get the tracking done by a garage who doesn't sell tyres and preferably by someone who has a 600 bhp track car that sticks like glue.

£30 sounds cheap for proper 4 wheel alignment, doubt it would have been done properly!
