Hey guys, wish my first post could have been on a better note but I've had my S3 about a month now. It's gone into limp mode 4 times within that time. As soon as I turn the engine off then on again it's fine.

Got a friend to run the codes on it and this came up. The car is remapped by one of the previous owners as I have a receipt from r-tech from 2010 which included a forge 007p and pipercross panel filter so that may be something to do with it? The car runs flawless and the boost really is something else when it's working, which is like 95% of the time.

It's pretty obvious I'll be needing a new diverter valve but just wondering if you guys have any other insight into what I would need to do to fix it before I take it into an Audi specialist.

Thanks

dont think the forge d.ump valves do to well, most ,seem to think audi dv is as good if not better....not to costly fron audi...

would do a search incaese im incorrect.

vcds is great for these cars

Seems pretty similar to the fault codes I got on mine. I got the first 2 on the list plus others. Had only just fitted a new oem recirc valve. Still haven't got to the bottom of it but the car runs with the cam position sensor unplugged although it takes a few turns of the key to get it started.
My problem is I think there is a short/break in the wire running from the cam sensor to the ecu.

Was hoping it was something as simple as the DV. I'll change that and then if the problems continue look into the cam sensor.

I've had a quick search for the standard DV and some people say it struggles with a mapped car... Would a brand new 007p be the next best option?

@willmad89.
I am affraid you are wrong in what you say. The standard valve has been proven to work better than the 007p.

well iv went through 2 standard ones now got a forge oo7p never had any problems with it

That you may have. They should be changed yearly if running higher boost than standard, yet they are still proven to work better.
