My Q7 has recently started to rev on its own and was wandering if anyone has come across this before.
Starts ok and idles fine until i press the accelerator.
Symptoms: revs up and down as if someone is actually pressing the accelerator intermittently.
it smokes a lot (brownish colour).
and while driving at low speeds it feels like its going to stall but it doesn't.
it has very limited power.
i can post a vid of the revving if that helps.

N.B the car has had its EGR Valve removed (before i bought it) and mapped out.
