I'm on a week's leave at the moment; not gone away, just chilling out around the place. We were walking the dog in our local park this morning when we met a retired guy walking his dog; a really nice fella called Ken. The dogs got on well together, and we got into conversation with him. He's widowed, and the dog (name of Ted) is his sole companion.
Mrs Grumpy Old Man had been taking pictures of our dog before we met the guy, so she immediately began taking pictures of his dog too, and showed them to him on her camera screen. He was fascinated by them, and just mentioned he didn't have any pictures of the dog.
I asked him if he'd like them printed, and his eyes really lit up, so I took that as a "yes". I got his address (and refused his offers of money). I have just come back from getting about a dozen prints done in my local Boots, and will pop them round this evening.
Here's some pics of Ted in his smart blue collar:
And one with our dog, Ike
