Exo V2 is out now. Frankly as keen as I am, semi permanent coatings scare me. I'd definitely get a pro to apply them! Exo in particular needs specific temperatures and a very clean surface to bond to. I can't do those things working outside!
Nah. I'm too much of a "try things out" kind of person.
My car has on various different panels: AG HD Wax, DJ Blue Velvet Pro, GTechniq C2V3 (love this) and DJ Acrylic Spritz. The C2V3 is the best trade off between quick application and mega beading. I love to experiment!
I love the experimenting too! All these waxes and sealants claim like 1-6 months protection,

Waxes and sealants can be put on top of the opti-coat to bring out the shine/depth and metallic effect etc.
It just protects the oem clear coat from damage with basically putting another clear coat layer on top. So you can treat it just like a normal paint finish. Just with a 3rd layer.
Good find! But yeah, unless you want the matt look it's not for the outside. I originally posted this as a bit of a joke and am amazed someone actually tried it! That's the internet for you.
