Have a weird one here.

If my car is out in the sun on a warm day (25C +) i get a self levelling error.
If my car is in the garage on a warm day out of direct sun i don't get the error.

Likewise at night, no error.

Any ideas please?

It seems to be heat related, but it's odd that it works on a 35C summer night but it doesn't work on a 20C day.

Does anyone know what type of sensor is used, is it a G-sensor, mercury type sensor?

No offence mate but looking at those temperatures I wouldn't expect any replies from within the UK.!!

We have no way of testing !!!!!!! lol

Mikes right mate were not lucky enough to have these temps especially round this time of year, ask us about rain though well thats are speciality lol

Not sure it is temperature related though.

What type of sensor is used for the self levelling?

Two sensors, one attached to the front and other to the rear suspension. Very easy to see and fit. Use VCDS to identify which one is faulty.

I need to look at the steering wheel controls in VCDS this week, so i'll take a look at the faults as well.

Thank you everyone :icon_thumright:
