I have bought a full Audi BT kit and will be retro fitting it soon. One question I do I have is why does the BT module have to be located under the passenger seat?

There doesn't appear to be a logical reason for this and it's going to be a right pain in the **** to do so. Can I not just put it behind the glove box???

Hi james you can put it behind glove box,it would need to be fixed in place :)

There is very little room behind the glovebox and will be putting unnesesscary strain on things - the panel in below the dash is a favourite place for location for the module.

Plenty of room and easier to remove than the glovebox.

I'm sure many will agree with me.

you can mount it in several different places, once you have it in your hands you will figure it out.
what i dont understand is hy is the bluetooth module still so frickin big!

I agree - its so bulky for what it does!

I wrapped mine in bubble wrap to stop any squeaks.

Which panel do you mean when you say below the glove box?

In below the steering wheel? Plenty of room in there.

3 8mm bolts to remove.
