Concert II+ to RNS-E

Hi,

I have searched for this but am still not clear.

I have an 07 A3 (not sportback), has a Concert II+ (non BOSE), I want to upgrade to an RNS-E. Fitting kits on e-bay, they come with a cable for the diversity antenna, can you please tell me what I have do with it, do I need to fiddle around in the boot or is it all done via cabling on RNS-E?

I want to have the best FM reception and no error codes.

Thanks but I already said I searched and was not clear, I'm stuck on what needed doing re the aerial antenna...your link didn't seem to work either.

Kind of been put off now after reading how many get ripped out.

Is your Concert the double din with chrome knobs?

Yes, that's the one, it plays MP3s (sometimes).

Thanks, I read that one already, it doesn't mention the diversity antenna and the codes it throws up, I guess I won't get any then.

You shouldn't get any codes from the antenna but you will probably have to replaced the module in the rear of the tailgate as the reception will be rubbish but it depends on when your car was built.
