Hi my name is Tom. I've been a member for a while , but never realy introduced myself. I did post threads,coments,pics etc.. but most importantly I've learned a lot in here. so big thank to you guys here in the 8l section, and the whole ASN forum..
anyways heres a litle intro:
bought the car 2 years ago as a facelift a3 1.8t AUM, with 87 k on the clocks 18 inch RSTT's,black leather interior (newer one),fog lights, a scorpion exhaust and..problems with the oil pick up,sensors,and a masive dent on drivers rear quarter panel.
the fixing/modding process started immediately and soon my baby started to get back in shape. first I've fixed the above mentioned problems,then came the usual stuff like the forge diverter valve ,silicone tip,jetex cone,more silicone hoses,new sump etc.. to make her nice and reliable again.then I decided to go lower so JOM coilies were bought and instaled along with adjustable droplinks,upper strut,new bushes,top mounts.as time went by more stuff came around. R-tech stage 1, s3 brake upgrade,spacers.
After this the visual modding needed to take place so:
colour coding on both bumpers,side skirts and a ''Black pack'' which contains black barts to contrast with the metalic silver colour of the car. such as black rof wrap,black mirros blackened front grille, black tints,new angel eye style black headlights,black (sprayed) tail lights.
suddenly my baby looked bit different/more agresive shoud i say.. and i kinda liked it.
the finish (so far) came with new 18 inch bbs LMS reps in black wit shiny stainles lip to match the colour scheme,and some stickers.
so whats next... not sure to be honest theres still a few things to be done along with the usual maintenance
