Hi folks,

Recently changed a couple of seals on my front differential on an 2006 A3 2.0 TFSI quattro. And i have been told that it holds 0.9 litres of oil which i have. just looking to fill the diff up again now and I'm wanting to check that I'm filling it right. There is a drain plug on the offside face of the diff below the shaft, and what looks like it may be a filling plug on the same side immediately below the driveshaft flange (although it is stuck on there solid). Reading through a few of the older posts, a few folk say that the older 8l quattros s3s etc just fill up from the gearbox...?

Can anyone shed some light on the correct filling method and if that is infact the filling plug im trying to undo...

Cheers
