1.8t onboard computer not working..

when i started my a3 the other day the fuel light was on but the, outside temp, mpg and radio station doesnt come on its as if i have turned it off using the reset button but i have tried to get it to come back on but it wont, is this a common problem? Is there an easy fix?

The only "common" problem is people not realising you can turn it off and doing it by accident, the usual fix being just pressing the reset button again and it will come back on.

In your case you seem to have tried that, maybe the stalk is faulty?

managed to get it back on pressed it fast few times again maybe faulty stalk as you say as i tried the same yesterday and had no joy.. Ohwell least its sorted for now.. Thanks
