High Beam Assist Audi A1 8X

Is it possible to vcd code high beam assist or do u need extra equipment.
I have autodimming rear view mirrors, light & rain sensors & Xenons

Unfortunately not. The High Beam Assist option includes an additional sensor on the interior mirror to detect the road ahead, it's not simply a case of coding with VCDS.

You can fit the other version of the mirror, but I believe it's over £200!

The high beam assist actually uses a camera on a completely different mirror, I have fitted the said mirror but relies on other systems to work, I'm confident if your modules support, I can get it working on the A1 as it should have the systems present already to make work, but wiring & coding changes will be needed.

I seem to recall these discussions on your A7 before, to which you didnt come back to me about, again I'm happy to fit the mirror & code it, hopefully it should work with ease, as I suspect you have the other required equipment fitted already, feel free to PM me though.
