What discs could I use to upgrade from th standard s3 setup,I've already got some 4 pot brembos that I will be using but would like slightly bigger discs, what other discs could I use as would prefer to keep to Audi discs to make it easier to replace at a later date

what brembos do you have? as depending on what ones is to which disc you can use.

323mm LCR or 330mm 2 piece are typical but depends on the brackets...

If LCR then 323mm disc but Bill @ Badger 5 does a spacer for the 330mm 2 piece he supplies as well as suitable brackets and braided hoses..

As far as I'm aware, no Audi came with 5*100 323 discs to match the LCR brembos. The closest you are going to get within the VAG family are LCR discs, but they are expensive so most of us with this setup go aftermarket. There are a few suppliers who do discs in this size now so prices are a little better than they used to be. The 330 size tend to be a lot more expensive simply because the volume isn't there hence no economies of scale.

I'm running these, Front Leon Cupra R Grooved Godspeed Discs - Godspeed Brakes which replaced a set of EBC Ultimax that I had no end of problems with. So far, so good with the Godspeed. As you'll see from the website, they also do 330mm setups like Bill.

The brembos are originally from an mg sv xpower but I've currently got them on my old mk4 escort estate and have been using them with mk1 focus rs discs,I will make my own brackets if I need to as thats what I did with my estate

Hi Andy,

I had them warp, so had them skimmed with an on-car lathe, then within a few months they warped again. I bedded them in as per instructions so was just annoyed. I also had a bad experience with EBC pads on my old Ibiza, so I've come to the conclusion that EBC and me don't get on so I won't buy any EBC products again in a hurry. I know that other people run them and have had no issues - so it's either me and the way I brake, or I just got unlucky.

The Godspeed stuff was recommended to me by a friend on SeatCupra.net who runs a set on his throttle bodied 220bhp 16v Ibiza. They were fitted back in early March and thus far are behaving as expected. Oh, and I'm running Ferodo DS2500 pads with both sets of discs.

I have I think 4 pot porsche brakes
but until what disks to get and where from?

But the setup at mo is crazy brakes are so good nearly putting me into the steering wheel
