Rear Lights

Do newer rear lights fit straight onto a 2005? I have a garnet red a3 and wanted to put the rear light cluster on with the darker black kind of look as the current red ones clash a bit with the cars colour!

Any help on which ones to get??

AFAIK they are straight fit. Only the ones for sportback need adapters.

are they just 2011 standard items those ones in the links? Or are they a specific type with the darker bits in?

Standard mate. MY09 were brighter red.
