My A3 is an SE and in the local diy store there were chrome adhesive letters, so I bought an S and an E. I lined them up perfectly on the hatch next to the A3 badge.

'Twas only when I walked back to the car a few days later that the word A3SE caught my eye.

Why? Much higher spec than base. Just about everything but xenons and RNS-E.
