Mmmmmmm I want!
I didnt see that, what bit was that on??
I did see the RS4 though, now that was good, really had them going didnt it....
Especially loved it when he said we can go again if you like.....lol!!
Oh and pick up your speed and join the motorway again, look at the cop in the passenger seat, he cant control his laughing!!
We are friends with a local traffic officer and he said that the only car he couldn't catch was an RS4. I'd be interested to see this too
I can remember that one as well - was very late at night?Hee hee! That reminds me of what finally decided me on an S3. I was watching an old Police Interceptors with the Essex force on it. The coppers were in an Evo hiding away in a layby when a car went past rather sharpish. Copper gave chase but this car really gave the Evo a decent run for its money on twisty roads.
When they finally caught up with the lad he was legit, but had bought his S3 earlier that day & was simply out for a trial run in it...

There was also a more shocking one on BBC's Traffic Cops last year(?) where an 8L S3 was nicked and then barrel rolled across a roundabout. The thief/driver was dead at the scene. As it was very late at night and driver had no id, the police assumed it was the owner. They went to his address to find him in bed - he didn't know he'd been broken into to get the keys and his car had been stolen.
heading which way?Have just driven past an unmarked silver S3 on the A1 past Grantham

A friend of mine had an ex police Cavalier GSI 2000 Turbo, im talking more than 10 years ago and he got it from them, with Full S/S Exhaust, performance Air Filter and already remapped!!
Why is it that the Police need an Audi S3 or a BMW, Since it is tax payers money surely it would be more cost effective to stick with brands such as Vauxhall??
heading which way?
i got three points by an unmarked audi a3 8p in feb 09 in lincoln, followed me in my saxo for about 15-20 mins then did me for an sp10.
In addition to any performance reasons, it's the cost of ownership rather than the base cost of the car. The Vauxhall or Ford may be £5k cheaper initially, but it will probably be worth next to nothing when the police get rid of it. Conversely a premium brand vehicle will always retain value come resale time. Why is it that the Police need an Audi S3 or a BMW, Since it is tax payers money surely it would be more cost effective to stick with brands such as Vauxhall??
Well it's on the proper telly at 7pm tonight.Tried to watch it last night on my ipad but couldnt get sound for some reason, I'll try again tonite
