Coilover help needed!!!

Was planning on fitting my coils today, was wondering if anyone new where to get the tool needed to undo the top mounts?? Or is it easy to just use a crank spanner and Allen key??

an impact gun will just spin the piston rod in the strut. If my memory serves me correctly you want one of these to do the job properly:

That's all I've ever used works fine for me.

Certainly not wrong, I'll have to save that to my wishlist for when i get my coilies,The way i did my top mounts on my A4 is a swan neck ring spanner or whatever they are called and the correct allen key, Hold the Allen key and turn the spanner, Though it can take a swift tap with a rubber mallet etc to crack it, That tool looks far better suited!

You can use an impact gun but they say you can damage the seals in the damper. . . Dunno how truth there is in it to be fair and it wont really matter if you're if you're just going to chuck them away!
